Despite Potomac's peaceful, country-like setting, access to the hustle outside is only minutes away. Potomac Falls is about thirteen miles from downtown Washington DC, is conveniently located close to three major airports, the Metro transit system, and the areas major highway networks I-270 and I-495. Fine public and private schools, shopping malls, restaurants, recreational opportunities, and other amenities are nearby. It is less than one mile from C&O National Park and also within walking distance of Potomac Village, which offers two major grocery stores, the post office, a public library, a community center, churches, restaurants, banks, and other businesses.
Public transportation is nearby too.
Three major airports are within an hour of Potomac Falls.
Bus services to New York, Boston, Charlotte, and other major cities can be caught locally. The Vamoose Bus, Bolt Bus, and Megabus provide inexpensive transport to and from Washington DC, or Bethesda, Maryland.
